Protected and Listed 16th-Century Building

The Casa del Abad de Ampudia is a protected and listed 16th-century building located in the main square. Due to its history and stately appearance, it is one of the most emblematic buildings in the town of Ampudia, a historic and monumental complex in the heart of the Castilian Tierra de Campos.

The entrance vault, chapel, old paintings and furnishings, stone baseboards and entrance gate, large adobe and stone walls, wrought iron and forged balcony railings, along with the original 16th-century Castilian paneled doors, all mark the building.

It has been completely restored, maintaining its unique layout and combining its original atmosphere with the most advanced technological advancements required for a five-star hotel and a meticulously designed interior. The restoration was carried out in three phases, in 1998, 2004, and 2022, all undertaken by architect Angel García Puertas of Summum Design Studio, creating a spectacular and detailed ensemble.
